Let's kick off October, Breast Cancer Awareness month, with a big pink rah rah cheer! I am participating in the 2009 Race for the Cure in Denver, walking 5k with my mom, sister and son. We are honoring those who fight the battle that is cancer as well as those who have beat the disease to stand as a proud survivor. We also walk in memory of those who have lost their lives to this enemy.
